Michael Dijamco, Caricatoon Artist



Born in 1958 in the Philippines, and moved to Philadelphia in the early 70's. His first art show was in kindergarten making a dinosaur out of clay. Thanks to Mr. Stan Lee and Marvel comics he specialized on the dynamic poses. He developed his art skills by drawing classmates as well as his teachers while he was going to middle school through High School and sold them for $.50 and up. His medium was colored pencil and paper. Majority of his art was sports athletes from local sports team like the Philadelphia Flyers, Sixers, Eagles and Phillies. He got a degree for Electronics Engineering but never went to school for Art. He stepped up his work when having his portraits of athletes and movie stars autographed. His artworks are found in homes of fine art collectors all over the world.

He took his skills working for Legoland, FL as a Caricature artist which he combined caricature and realism and then caricatoons was created. He was the top selling artist for 5 years at Legoland, FL and took his work now at the Boardwalk Resort at the Walt Disney World.

He founded Caricatoons For All, LLC which takes commissions for parties, caricatoons, shadowboxes as well as art pieces. 

A caricatoon is a non-exaggerated likeness of yourself; this style is pleasing and never offensive
